FIRST EVER CHARITY CHALLENGE HOMERUN DERBY AT LITTLE CUBS FIELD
Sunday, August 1, 2010, 10 charities will set an unofficial world record for most homeruns in one day at one baseball field! Nothing like this has ever been done, according to Guinness Book of Records.
Each charity is taking pledges for each homerun they hit in the 1 hour each is given.
Homers will be hit at a rapid pace, with pitches coming at the batter every 4-5 seconds.
You can guess how many homers will be hit that day, with guesses taken now at the Little Cubs Field Gift shop, open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10-5pm. Winning guess gets a free rental of Little Cubs Field for you and your group.
The event starts at 8am and ends about 7pm.
Location is Little Cubs Field, 1160 W. Empire, Freeport, Il. 61032
Show up and cheer your group on—bragging rights to the charity that hits the most homers!
